I have had a great time moving from selling hardware and ISP services into manages services.

Typical day starts at 06H30, reason being i hate traffic and could rather be productive with admin and addressing e-mails. I am a go-getter, I do not wait for things to happen, so I make it happen. Secondly, as we have no local support in country, (i.e. delivery, pre-sales, etc.), I find having an early start makes it easier for me to complete matters relating to tenders, proposals, collections, invoicing, etc. I have a good relationship with my co-workers and humble myself at all times. Being humble, listening, attention to detail makes ones life in our career a joy. Not listening to passage gossip. I enjoy my work as I have been in the industry for 35 years and have a passion for what I do. It is all about adding value. I sometimes find the 24 hours in a day is a challenge as I Currently do Alliance Management (Oracle S.A.), Business Development, Account Management, resource management, invoicing, collections, etc. Therefore many times I find myself juggling in between all of these.

Pros: Great opportunity to further growth.
Cons: Lack of local support, i.e. pre-sales, delivery, resourcing, etc.

Adaptable to learn new technologies and always interested to explore more.

1. Good team player 2. Mentor and monitor team members 3. Always approachable, without any hesitations 4. Engage well and keep up the good relationship with project stake holders 5. Always keep myself update with latest technologies in the market related to my career.

Pros: Strong team player
Cons: Sometimes gets bored working on the same technology for long time

Lesson learnt in a sense of inter-personal skills

My day at work includes: - Scrum meetings with QA, Business, Project Team and Development team. - Review sessions within the QA team i.e. Automation and Functional Testing approaches - Test Analysis and Design - Test Execution and Reporting - UAT and Training

Pros: I have skills covering all aspects of system development and the testing life cycles, from specification through to delivery and commercial launch.
Cons: Lack of tools for traceability

I have learned quite a lot about being professional and reliable as a person

I learned so much in this company, including reliability, professionalism and be consistent. The working environment is not so good. They don't treat people who are at lower level so good they provided us with a lot of training, but the treatment is not so good from the managers. They are not inclusive, they don't consider interns as part of the team.

Cons: Not professional
