For the past two years, i really enjoyed working at Local Goverment. Clearline of authority and interpersonal skills from top management. The problems was the delay in authirising the payments of suppliers and stuff salaries. My relationship with workers was excellent,we were working harmoniously in team spirity to achieve the organisational objectives. I learned teamwork,working independently and conceprual skills. I enjoyed reaching organisational goals and correction given by manager if standard not met. Challenges was working under pressure and monthly reports due to lack of resourses.

Pros: Clearline of authority and condusive environment
Cons: No promotions,low salaries and benefits

Learnt a lot and became experienced in this job

busy fast paste working environment, constantly capturing dealing with various confidential documents. taking minutes to urgent meetings called at the last minute. friendly respectable good working relationship with colleagues. At local government i enjoyed going to the offices in the overberg , breede river and paarl areas to see how they operate and learn there systems they work on, things that they do different and see if it can be applied to cape town and if it will work.

Pros: with hard work and qualifications there is opportunity for promotion, can work flexi hours
Cons: no cons for working at the government really, except for the fact that its a fight for money increase

My typical workday is the delay of decisions from the decision maker. Working environment is condusive and employees are working harmoniously in team spirit toward organizational objective. I enjoy meeting targets and time management. I learned working indepantantly and under pressure. I enjoy new challenges.

I like to earn 3000-4000 a month as a intern.

The purpose of this study was to show how gesture can enhance math performance. It was an experimental research study that looked at how gesture effects children’s learning of math, particularly addition. The independent variable was gesture with three different conditions; gesture, no gesture, and partial gesture. The dependent variable of the study was the difference between pre- and post- test scores on a math task. The mediator variable was the speech being used during the lesson.

Pros: i never had shush experience and it is nice to work at Local Government .
Cons: 8 hours

Record officer

i have an extensive experience in administration. i worked as a registry clerk at local government and housing as an intern and also i worked at SACAA as a record officer. i have a good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Pros: I enjoyed at working at this company, because we were working as a team. i like to work as a team but i can also work independently, is just that team work gives me the opportunity to display my communication and to learn new things from others
Cons: we were working long working hours which i like most as we were working overtimes. it gave me opportunity to learn new things at a short period of time.

Excellent learning opportunity

A friendly, courteous, professional relationship with colleagues. A full, busy work day with always assisting when my work load is not too heavy, I have learned to be professional, punctual, confident. How to take minutes in meetings. Besides being computer literate i enjoyed learning the systems local government worked on...BAS payments, Logis for ordering goods, CMATS for tracking docs etc

Pros: with hard work and qualifications there is opportunity for promotion
Cons: none really, as you can work flexi
