Excellent Learning Curve

We are a Manufacturing concern where we make electrical plugs and sockets for the local market. The plugs and sockets are actually hand made. My Typical day would be come to work issue stock for the production lines and I would also receive new stock and would have to record in a Kardex system so as to receive and issue stock and try make the stock balance on the Kardex system in the books. My relationship with the co-workers is friendly and proffessional. I have learnt patience and character building. I also have learnt how to deal with conflict. I am passionate about the work I do in my Industry and career. The most challenging aspects of my day is when I wake up and go to work and try to reach or go further than my potential. Making a customer happy and seeing him/her smile after they have been served.

Excellent exposure

Working at Logwood is good experience for me because they have a contract with Lesco Manufacturing where we manufacture plugs and sockets as per orders. I do the Stock Control making sure the stocks balance for the plugs and sockets and the brass parts that make up the plugs etc.

Pros: Great opportunity for experience in manufacturing.
Cons: Remuneration too low.
