Team Excellence is key to growth

My daily function as Sales Manager is to manage my clients, products and sales representatives . Recruitement and training is key to a successfull team. This is also part of my respinsibility. Currently I have 8 sales representatives that works in my team. We are responsible for a monthly target between R 1.5 million to R 2.5 million People are my passion. Working in a team and achieving excellence is very rewarding for me. I have learnt to manage a team as an internal client as oppose to driving/ conflict management and target approach. Challenging part of my job is time management. With daily deadlines 4 times a week, planning ahead for 3 months and the current economy our media industry is faced with having to be innovative, hard working and focussed as teams.

Great learning experience

During my years at Lowveld Media, I learnt a great deal, not only about editing but many other topics that the world of journalism/media cover. I believe that this has prepared me to move on to a company where I can grow and acquire new skills.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: Long working hours, low salary
