Amazing team work, great learning curve, excellent opportunity for growth and learning

Sales is a very stressful career but it was so much better because I had Collegues who were willing to help where they could. Though there are days of disagreements and stress due to different factors the team work shown has been amazing. We have a very good relationship, professional and friendly not just to customers but amongst ourselves as well The Most challenging thing in a sales office especially for a production plant is following up with each and every department to ensure that customer needs are met. Sometimes people in those departments forget about your order etc and that causes trouble for you because the customer might shout at you. First thing I got in my first interview was that Sales is the first line of defense and the first line of attack and one needs to have very thick skin to be able to survive and I've grown very thick skin

Pros: Great opportunity to learn and expand your knowledge on handling customers. Great opportunity to learn more about steel products

Macsteel is a well known company with promise of advancement.

II work in a very pressurise d environment making sure everyone go the extra mile to service our customers and keep them happy.I have leart that our customers is of utmost importance and that without them we do not have a busy. I get along well with my co-6 an have leart to respect them and working closely with them as we all have one common goal.I enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done and a satisfied customer. The most challenging part of my job is the day to day running of all operations to make sure we service all our customers in order to secure their future business

Pros: There is promotion opportunities within the group.
Cons: I am eager to advance in the company, but it feel that it is not happening at the speed I anticipate it to happen.
