Exciting ever changing

Work starts very early and carries on late into the night at times. Pressure and problem solving is a daily occurrence. A multi-national work force looks to you for guidance and advice. Exposure to modern construction and the ever changing demands in the industry as well as concepts. Satisfied clients is the best feeling after completing a building and the hand over begins. Moving sites is not a joy it is horrible but must be done. Great satisfaction to be able to go all hands on at days when time is limited. The long hour’s puts a damper on family life and social life but when you have a chance to socialize one thoroughly enjoys it making the best of every moment. Traveling can be testing as I travelled a great deal during my time as Construction Contracts Manager not being at home for 2+ months at a time. Worth it in the end of the day

Construction Manager

Being in construction is great, I wake up each and everyday knowing that the will be a new challenge, a target to meet, a plan to achieve and co-worker to shear the ideal how to be a A team. most challenging is when we are double checking the bending schedule any error we might come across and with the short period of time CI need to be issued to make all right.

Pros: working in this company you have to alway be profession and presentation is that key from you site report
Cons: each and everyday we are working as normal , but during concrete or pressure we can overlap to the time will suit the production

Exciting ever changing

Small Construction Company owned by the directors of Stor-age. Building all their stor-age buildings and steel requirements. 49 Branches country wide. Job requests your presence in all provinces so traveling has been a part of my 4 year career. Lots of learning from the labourers they taught me how to plaster and to do brick laying which I have done myself on some projects. Lots of hands on work which I love as sitting waiting for things to happen will not work as I am to perfectionistic
