A typical work day starts at 07:30 and ends at 16:30, if you are lucky, I have to be on call 24/7 and often work 10+ hour days, but the thrill of the sales is worth it! General relationships are good, unfortunately since the integration of 2 separate entities into one facility, some peoples standards have dropped and communication has deteriorated. I have learnt a lot about the inner workings of construction, from both a retail & contractor perspective. I enjoy selling and site visits the most, I prefer being on the road to in an office. In the early years with the company I was fortunate enough to attend multiple training courses, which have stood me in good stead with regards to technical knowledge/back up as well as giving a clearer in site into what can go wrong on site. the most challenging aspect at present is being severely short staffed but still having to get the job done and keeping everyone motivated.

Excellent learning curve
I have learn a lot in finance, started in cash office for about two years, then CREDITORS . I have been carrying responsibility for two big ACCOUNTS of the company for almost five years, concourantly with cash office As well as document control. By 2017 that's when I took all responsibilities and moved into ACCOUNTS PAYABLE with two legs. I receive supply invoices and match with delivery notes as well as purchase orders, capture invoices into Sap and make sure that they are getting paid. Reconcile ACCOUNTS regularly and settle all outstanding balances and make sure that accounts are up to date.Sort supply queries .

Excellent learning curve
I am currently head of operations at Marley Building Systems where I lead a senior team of 8 professionals, responsible for Production, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Continuous improvement and warehousing, supplying a predominant retail and distribution market with drywall systems. With full responsibility of our Operational cycle, i oversee two manufacturing facilities. A factory manufacturing steel profiles and another factory manufacturing plasterboard. I set the factory strategic targets, annual operational budgets, cost cycle reviews, research and develpment and capital investments. I am now looking to progress to the next stage of my career, and with 10 years experience in the corporate world, and extensive experience as the firms Operational executive with a solid track record, i feel that I can really help any organization in achieving its ambitious targets.

Self Motivation
I enjoy serving my clients on a daily basis. We have the privilege of meeting new people / customers every day. Helping our clients meet their deadlines for sites give my the utmost satisfaction of having achieved our goals. Efficient customer service is what I take pride in. Teaching and motivating my staff. Great teamwork is what I enjoy in my work space. Leading by example is my motto. Daily preparation for customer deliveries is what ends our work day, everyday. Site visits reminds me why we do what we do.

Excellent learning curve
I do receive invoices from suppliers, match with delivery notes and purchase orders, scan and process in Sap. Reconcile ACCOUNTS for payments and cleaning up discrepancies in the accounts to correspond with supplier statements. Handling COD ACCOUNTS And refunds. Helping my workmates with their ACCOUNTS during their absence. Filing all recons, payments and invoices according to company standards. Work extra hours when necessary, mornings, after hours and even weekends. The most enjoying and challenging work is cleaning and clearing an accounts with discrepancies in it, like payments or invoices does not reflect in that account or is been sitting in different account.

I am currently on contract at Marley Building Systems abd are immediately available,I have been a Credit Controller for the last 13 years in various industries,I have experience in FMCG accounts like Shoprite Checkers,Pick n Pay,OK etc
