It is a learning curve, but I want something more.
We work from 7 to 16:30 weekly and I start my day by doing safety meetings and risk assessments. I have a great relationship and this is because I always tell them that safety is not a human right but a personal responsibility. In this way I don't have to nag them as they work hence they do their work in a safe manner.
Pros: I created a great relationship with employees and they understand my position as a safety officer
Cons: low salary

I am learning everyday
My work is about doing working in the office and going onsite for meeting. I work in environment of team work whether in the office or onsite. Since the time i join this company there is lot a have learn like working as team and being independent when is needed. The most enjoying part is when i am given a project and able to execute accordingly, this always give me joy. The challenge is when we are working as team and you find that some of team members didn't do well which also take time because we have to redo again.
Pros: Great opportunity of promotion
Cons: normal hours

Excellent learning curve
Supervise Toolbox talk Meeting with Team leaders to ensure all daily tasks will be met Occasionally talk to co-workers just to find out how they feel about their job and daily tasks. Round up end of day with all team leaders and planning for the next day. I have learnt that every team member should be given an ear you definitely learn some thing new everyday. Every day I am eager to go to work and aim at reaching targets The most challenging aspects are when sub-contractors do not pitch up for work and delay in getting Site Instructions sent or written by the architects.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion acquiring new knowledge
Cons: Long working hours when project is lagging behind
