Excellent learning curve

It has been a great start after graduating. Intern for 8 months and promoted to Trainee Server Technician. Ensuring backup and retention policies adhere to the client Service Level Agreement. Troubleshooting Operating System and hardware related issues. Liaising with customer support technicians at remote sites to resolve data protection and LAN related faults on the customer prescribed Incident Management System.

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion.
Cons: No paid overtime

Management was learning to value employees

I am doing a 1st Line Support and Desktop Support . Logging call using a SharePoint and OTRS system. Assist users With Remote desktop. I have learnt VMware, WSUS and TrendMicro. I enjoy intalling software . The challenges aspect is dealing with difficult users.

Pros: Aspect of Network Engineer
Cons: Installation of software
