Life at Mcwade Productions

Mcwade Productions is a company that manufacturers electrical components and aluminium castings of any kind for a lot of companies. Every day spent in the company is of something new to learn, see and hear. At this company I have learnt how to programme the welding robot, how to create a welding procedure and to qualify the welding. I have learnt how to operate a lathe machine and milling machin, how to draw patterns for casting and working in the foundry.

Pros: Got to be the workshop machinist
Cons: work 12 hours through out the week

Granting sick leave an sick pay for emplpyees

Working at my company thought me attention to details that ensures good team work o have a good relationship with my Co workers I have learnt to deal with difficult customers especially on the phone an on their arrival at the reception .the most thing that I enjoy most is to work with many employees an their crisis on their payslip especially if the is shortage I work hand in hand with the payroll. The most challenging job is when we do stock taking an first d that there is shortage of material .or the stores people put them in the wrong allocations

Pros: there is great chance of promotions especially when u work hard an dedicated
Cons: long working hours is when I have to reach dead lines or delivery dates for customers

Excellent learning curve

Plan organise and design projects , I have a good relationship with my co workers . I separate friendship and workmanship well.i enjoy working on new projects as I enjoy working. designing is the most challenging but I enjoy the focus and the things I learn when finding solutions and the reward is an unexplainable feeling .

Learnt to implement QMS system, internal audits, implementation of OHS Act, COID submission, incident investigation, HIRA , zero alcohol and drug zone, drafting a substance abuse policy, first aid and fire fighter appointments
