Larned to overcome challenges with client that are well off and expects exceptional service
My colleagues and I greet each other with smiles and say our goodbyes to the night duty staff and one feels a sense of responsibility and ownership towards ones job. They are part of my other family and the people that I spent the most part of my day with therefore we get along very well and we've always been more of friends than colleagues. We are great team players and we all have the same goal of putting our department at the top, we love challenges and we work very hard to achieve all of that. I have learned to always be at the top of my game because in this environment there is no room for error and you may not say "I do not know". I enjoyed working seeing a smile on the patient smile when they are well to go home and recover, the compassion that I shared with the most nervous clients and showing sincere empathy towards them. The most challenging part is if you have to turn away a sick client because they cannot afford to pay for the treatment for the ailments that they present with.
Pros: The feel at home environment where everybody cares for one another.
Cons: When I start my day at 02:45 in the morning to get to work and get home at 08:00 at night.

No Day is the Same Mornings I check in with my team, thereafter I check in with my contractors on our site - to help them trouble shout problems. Order Approvals daily Invoice sign off to be sent to corporate office Statistics for GM Variance reporting (Income statement) Work well with team and individually, but in current environment you need Team Work. My relationship is very professional with clients, but I have funny bone in my body. I have learnt to listen and not to just give orders. Working in a hospital, sharpened my planning and execution skills. Challenging aspect of my job is that you might have planned your day, but no two days are the same. I also learnt to think on my feet and to be innovative.
Pros: Limited opportunities in our industry if you are not clinical or staying close to our corporate office (Stellenbosch)
Cons: travelling and required hours
