Just started here on fixed term contract

I have just commenced here on a fixed term contract and i am looking for a permanent position. I am professional certificated engineer registered with ECSA and a professional engineer with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

Excellent

Am a electrician with a red seal I have more than 10 years experience, and I still eager to go far with my career, learning everyday is my motor I have learned lot of things after so far,I can work shift and over time,I have team spirit, I also developed team leader quality, I can lead and I can also work alone. Excellent learning curve

Read and interpret drawing,fabricate and install pipes and support according to drawing,repair and maintane palant. I enjoy sharing ideas with my collegues,being a women among thousand man its a challenge you always have to go an extra mile just to prove yourself of which i enjoy it most In our field safety comes first and i am responsible for my own safety as well as my collegues

Ability to learn new things

I would like to apply for a pipe fitter position. I have completed Matric, PC Engineering A+, ASHEP, HIRA and I'm currently studying towards a fitter trade test. I have more than 10years experience in mechanical draughting and pipe fitting having worked with AMT, DB Thermal & Wetback. I acquire excellent knowledge and experience in fitting, drawings and OH&S. I also have safety trainings in hand tools, working at heights, lifting equipments. I previously worked at Sasol secunda, Komati and Medupi power stations, Steinmuller Africa and other workshops.

Always working under pressure

worked on pressure moments, meet deadlines, work in team spirit and challenge is when the suppliers are not delivering on time after agreeing on a specific time/date. I have learned to be patient and be calm. I enjoy making results and meeting my targets

Pros: Good learning opportunities, good skills and freedom to express my thoughts
Cons: yes overtime
