I really enjoy working with them.

I am personal assistant to my Off Con Trade Marketing manager. We have a very close working relationship. I also work very closely with my Off Consumption sales reps and their Off Con Sales Manager. I provide them with all the sales and marketing materials for the promotions that they need to carry through. I attend wine tastings and farm visits with both On Con and Off Con teams to learn more about the new and the exisitng wines. I really enjoy working with them. The last 1 year and 11 months was and still great. However, I would like to earn more working experience in a different company and face different challenges. I have learnt organisational skills and my computer skills have improved a lot. I work well in a team and as well as an individual. I have also noticed that I can work well under pressure. I would be happy if you give me an opportunity so that I can use my skills in your company and earn more working experience, thank you.

Pros: I enjoyed doing the Makro Wine tastings and going on a trade day with the Off Con sales reps together with my manager.
Cons: I worked from 8:30am until 16:00 which was okay with me.

Excellent work place with high standards

Meridian is a a great company to work for the have very intelligent and well skilled people in each department allocated according to job description very helpful and always willing to lend a hand very respectful to everyone equally high standards in the liqour industry

it is a great and wise to experience my feelings regarding my company, it is a joyful place to work for i enjoy challenges, because thats what i get everyday, and it gives me growth because know matter how hard it is, i don't give up i push myself forward and awaiting to deal with another challenges. My relationship with my colleagues especially with my team is very strong because am that bubble person,i say what needs to be said in a respectively way or manner, and that gives a great strong team that we stand on whats right and whats wrong for the team.

Great culture and ability to grow in.

Great culture and ability to grow in. We represent reputable premium wine brands in the South African market. Great team environment. Our Exec team had a good open door policy whereby we could engage frequently at this level. We were given the freedom to introduce new ideas and present these to brand owners. The company promoted self development and supported the individuals through our learning academy. The family business aspect through ownership and ownership of our wine brands really made it a special place to work. It was great to see owners involved in the planning and brand building sessions.

Pros: Worked myself up from a Sales consultant to now a channel head
Cons: We did not own our wine brands which created challenges to react quickly in market.

Great learning curb

Great company but not earning a decent enough salary to survive. No growth in the current position. I have learnt a lot during my time with the company and have really established a love for the wine industry. I am looking to grow and better myself and be able to earn a competitive salary that one can survive on and have left over.
