Experience

I have gained valuable experience in BMC Remedy, within various sectors (Banking, Medical Aid, and Telecommunications). The experiences in these different fields have valuable insight into different systems. I've supported various different solutions ranging from out of the box ITSM implementations all the way to fully customized BMC Remedy implementations. Some of my responsibilities are Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support for all infrastructure operational issues , Provide reporting on SLA related matters, Provide assistance to the Service Desk staff, and migrating data from one server to the other, developing on the Remedy platform, writing various type of reports like crystal, business objects, spot fire and Technical documentation that goes along with the software development life cycle. I’m also on standby once a week every month for all our clients.

Consulting Project Management

I I splI split my time between Operational Management of clients that have retainer agreements and new / existing projects for various clients in different industries, like banking, medical, telecoms, ITSM. I work with a crack team of developers who are really good at their jobs. I'm both an enabler and driver to my colleagues. I've learnt that stakeholder management in the PMBoK discipline is paramount and justifiably the 10th Knowledge Area. Its fantastic when a project is delievered and just makes life so much easier for users and clients alike. The biggest challenge to my projects is weak leadership / buy-in and bureaucracyit

Cons: Poor leadership
