Excellent learning curve

My day gets very hectic, i am an authoritarian, and always play by the rules. I make sure that all procedures and policies are being correctly followed by all employees. When i speak,people tend to listen. My boss says i always get my way when i request things from the staff. I love my job, because everyday is different. It is exciting. The challenging part of my job is having to do investigations and calling the perpertrators to task. They are all men, and me being a woman, it gets a bit challenging at times, but nothing that i cannot handle.

Work environment

Control room operator ,I had a very good working relationship with the employee and also employer ,I've learnt to be patient as I was dealing with different people everyday and learnt how to solve a problem without involving a management it was a great experience ,what I loved most about my job was talking almost the whole day helping out or being stressed out ,the most challenging time was the month end when they got payed no one want to work when they have money and makes my job very difficult when the is a shortage of staff.

Everyday is a new challenge

My typical work day start out at 8am, when i immediately have to reconcile all loading forms with returns that came back with driver after delivery. Take a walkabout in the warehouse, where i have to check for any safety issues, removal of all damages and recording and reporting to depot manager. I have to deal with driver shortages, drivers, and employees on a daily basis. Reporting of all discrepancies to my depot manager and investigate corrective actions. Deal with contractors and suppliers on a daily basis with regards to stock and maintenance.

Fast learner

at any normal day, you will do the HR admin work then when it is time for recruitment then it get busier as we can employ 50 people each day. I work well with my coworker as we have a mutual understanding. I have learnt to work well under pressure and work overtime when I have to. I enjoy working in HR is has always been my dream to work with people
