Great potential for growth

The Staff complement is fairly old and needs young people to take it forward. Continuous in fighting derails the main purpose why we all work there. Dissemination of information is only meant for the elite few. The executives tend to come up with great Business Plans/Corporate Strategies but the guy this information is never filtered down to the guy at the end of the Structure that is actually doing the work this leaving the Strategy as merely a strategy that looks good on paper.

Pros: Balance between work and Family life
Cons: Organised Labour tend to have too much power

Excellent learning curve

Its a good working environment with a lot of challenging task At one time I hat to do 3 Volvo engines, it was a hard day for me yet I was up for the challenge. And I was able to do that with a team work it was good.I have learned everything working on busses

Pros: no promotion I got
Cons: long working hours it was about 16 hoirs

Amazing learning experience but definitely would like to expand more in my field

? Capturing salary advices ? Doing administration and filing ? Organizing, arranging and coordination meetings ? Records keeping ? Processing of leave applications and benefits ? Compiling and processing of timesheets of employees ? Maintaining of personal details and ordering of stock and stationery ? SAP SYSTEM ? Enforcing company policies and procedures ? Dealing with claims and IRP5 Is what would conclude as a typical work day . My relationship with the my colleagues is very great and we help each other a lot in areas we are not strong in . I’ve learnt a lot about my self like working under pressure and with people from differ background and language barriers. I enjoy interacting with different people everyday and learning more about the company and it’s vision and how to accomplish is daily. The most most challenging aspect is the paper work as the company is not that up to date with the 4IR industr

Excellent

It has some good times and bad time and pros andansd I enjoy working here and being with my colleague and used to everyoneand they have not been bad things happening so far as to which I wish I could work so many years herebut I sometimes miss my family cons

Poor learning curve

At first it was very nice.but now our leaner ship was supposed to end December 2016 because we have not done any assessment we won't be able to have certificate they decided to extend the learner ship. Coworkers welcomed us with open hands.I have leant so many things Microsoft, operations,dispatch, switchboard,schedule job etc

I was a student

I was doing my apprenticeship for diesel mechanic which took us five years to complete the program. Now I am a qualified diesel mechanic artisan since October 2017

Pros: It only applies to permanent employees,and I was on learning contract
Cons: We used to work overtime
