Excellent understanding of corporate governance structures and principles

I am confident that I may meet the requirements for the job and possess the necessary attributes, competencies as well as the relevant experience to perform the work diligently. I have extensive experience as a legal advisor in different sectors including government, SOEs and private sector. With my current positon at MHSC, which is a Schedule 3A entity, I am confident that my experience in advising the Board, Executive Management and Standing Committees will add value to your organisation. My exposure to corporate governance principles and being a member of IOD gives me the urge to carry out my responsibilities with the necessary meticulousness. I interact with various units within the organisation and assist with all relevant legal and governance matters including advise to managements and business units. I take pride in compiling risk registers and Annual reports including quarterly and monthly reports to Board and Audit and Risk Committee,

Pros: It is an entity of Department of Mineral Resources and there is always exposure to the mining industry and legislative developments

Is it worth it

Attending meetings is day to day routine. I write reports and minutes of meetings for organized labour. My relationship with co-workers is excellent. I have learnt a lot about health and safety issues in the mining industry. I enjoy interacting with mine workers. I like the fact that they appreciate the work that I do in running workshops that impart knowledge for them.

Pros: Interaction with mine managers
Cons: There is a lot of travelling and sleeping out

It’s a toxic environment I wish the whole council & executive can be changed Staff & Council members are always plotting against each other. Staff members that do not want to work are in the middle of gossip s
