Excellent learning exposure
The work environment at MICT SETA includes liaising with internal and external staff on a daily basis, which provides a stimulating sense of growth and interaction from different levels and platforms. In terms of my job description, I am a Board Secretary Administrator who is responsible for the full functioning of assisting the Board and related parties thereto. It is a fully fledged function that requires constant change and assistance on all levels and requires work of a professional standard. Relationship with co-workers are strong and the atmosphere is only work-related. There are no extra mural activities to stimulate the team and grow in terms of work opportunities. I thoroughly enjoy working independently and in a team, which provides a path for mental growth, however, your work can be cumbersome and mundane, which leaves you isolated. The most challenging thing about working here is that there is no scope for growth.

Results orientated and innovative
Good communication skills, with the ability to formulate multi-dimensional communication strategies and able to get crucial information from others. Results orientated and innovative. Able to build long-term relationships and very clients focused. Has the ability to think both conceptually and analytically with concern for order, quality and accuracy.

It a peffect learning dirrection.
It is a good feeling to be there. And the relationship with colleagues is a good one. I have learned that it more important to serve the client and make sure that they come back again.

Good Career development, good training interventions
Day to day work environment is busy in a sense that there are only 3 HR Administrators in the organisation servicing 78 employees. Our organisation is a friendly environment, all the departments tasks/duties are interrelated, so we work well together. There are good growth prospects in terms of the good Training and Development policy that we have and the opportunities to learn.

Good learning culture
I have a good learning experience at Mict SETA, good learning culture with the majority of employees being young,. The SETA is growing at a rapid pace giving opportunities to new entry level. There's a good exposure of engaging with management on a regular basis.

The culture is of poor planning and very manual driven.
I manage a team of 5 staff, my day is mostly consumed with advising business on the correct process flows aligned regulation associated with SCM compliance. Performance management of teams. I enjoy leading my teams and business in driving compliance and governance processes. The most challenging aspect of my job is having manual processes having come from a digital environment.

Excellent learning curve
time absorbing, attention to detail, hectic details, friendly staff. 4 employees admitted to mental hospital in a year. I have learnt to work diligently, be attentive to detail and write technical reports.

The company served as a gateway to further my studies
Working for mict seta was beneficial as it enhanced my qualifications and studies, gave me more work experience in the field. There is a very good team work and communication amongst the coworkers.

Company lacks critical management and good leadership styles
MICT SETA is a company that lacks managerial and good leadership styles. There is no room for growth and promotion. It makes you grow a thick skin and so concentrated on work. There is no value that is added to your work-life balance. No recognition.
