Great experience

Could be treated better but other than that no complaints. There is however a few staff members that don't appreciate what we contribute to the school which is a lot according to other educators. The learners can be a problem especially when they don't treat you as someone of authority. They get to comfortable and begin to address fellow assistants by their first names. I feel also that we are underpaid but not by the school but rather the government program which is why I am currently an Education Assistant. It is still a wonderful workspace and I am honored to have gained experience but there definitely needs to be more of a change to be where I believe it can be.

Great environment, learn new things everyday, meet amazing people from all walks of life

Great people, supportive managers, compels one to be proactive and think out of the box, energetic environment. Learn new things everyday in every aspect.

Pros: No opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long hours
