There only reason I want to leave my current employment os to get more exposure in the field of study I am qualified in which is Human Resource Management. My typical day around this time includes admissions and handling registrations for students. Channelling students queries to the relevant departments so that they can be solved within a minimum time. Working closely with the Dean and HOD to implement training that is required by our academic team, moderators and examiners. Working closely with various departments to make certain that the students gets the best service with what ever problem they may bring to our attention. I enjoy the relationships built working with other departments, I also enjoy sharing knowledge with others and developing them, because to me being a leader is all about bringing others with you. As this will build morale of colleagues and make them.to commit to the organisation and nit because they are threatened to but because they want to and the momentum allows.

Great Experience
Looking forward to coming to work each day. Having a great relationship with colleagues and working together as a team. Plenty of enthusiasm around the company and working closely with different departments. Each and everyday is learning curve at Milpark as the company believes in making continuous changes to keep students happy. The most challenging aspect would be a "difficult student". As a Student Service Administrator, you are the key to the company as you are the first point of contact. All students needs to be treated with respect and deserves the best service to your ability.
Pros: Working hours are fair and the environment is great.
Cons: Not that much opprtunity for growth.

Good corporate experience
It was a very exciting company to work for, particularly in my department the sales department. We all got along very well and worked well together. Working for the company taught me alot about customer service and the importance to people/ Personnel in all arears of life. I enjoyed meeting new people every day and the opportunity I was given to help them with decisions that could change their lives. One of the most challenging part of the job was dealing with difficult personalities, long working hours and being on my feet almpst the whole day.
Pros: Exposure to understanding the academic world
Cons: Seasonal busyness and gets too quite at times

Academic Administrator
Mondays i administer claims, process them on system, get them signed and courier them to Finance Dept, check my e-mails, to do list, upload info on website if so required, filing make calls to students, assist the Program Manager, Dean if required, HOD and module owners. attend to meetings.
Pros: I learned a lot by myself and build character, in that, i was given work that no one seems to know but i forced myself to until i knew it. i have grown in that way.
Cons: No training, you learn as you go and no one seems to know the rules until you find them out therefore no transparency.

Excellent learning curve
I am grateful for an opportunity to come to work everyday. I just cannot see myself here for long, there's no growth whatsoever. It gets frustrating, it is a typical day at work. My relationship with my co workers are simply non existent. I have learnt how not to treat staff if and when I get to that position.

Learned and Grow
Dealing with Customers on a daily basis and overturn complaints into compliments on Hello Peter making every call count. Customer Service is my main priority.

Opportunity
I had the opportunity to assist students even though my role just required basic administrative tasks. This allowed me to take initiative and be proactive and allowed me to be in control. During my ttime at Milpark Education I went on Microsoft courses such as advanced excel and customer care course. I was also able to finish my BCom in Human Resource Management degree (Cum Laude) within 3 years which was my biggest achievement. Unfortunately for me there were no opportunities for growth within HR.
