Great to work for a mega company

A typical workday starts at 06h00 hours preparing for the morning meeting in the war room (cabin). The meeting then commences at 07h00 to discuss the daily workflow. All the issues are then listed and follow ups done during the morning. The daily updates are then captured in the flow sheets and in prima Vera. Validation of these updates are then verified and concluded. Also the weekly updates of the s curves and feedback to senior management are captured in the weekly dashboards and presented and discussed with senior management.

Pros: Stable working conditions
Cons: A lot of challenging obstacles to achieve with roadblock galore.

Excellent Project Management exposure

Working with the company has provided an opportunity to be exposed to Project Management responsibilities. The Company is currently constructing the fourt largest Power Stations in the world, namely Medupi Power Station and Kusile Power station.

Pros: Great exposure in the industry
Cons: Long working hours
