Growth personal and professional level

Mix is very good company with great environment, I I capture around 70 job cards of technicians on the excel spreadsheet, the volume of work is a lot but because of my good typing skills I rarely feel the pressure. My colleagues are the best we never have a dull moment and we always help each other with regards to work. I have learnt to multi task cause office admin and data capturing is not all I do, so I have learnt to give a helping hand and perform ad hoc duties asap then carry on with normal duties. I enjoy working with my colleagues selfless. But most importantly is that you never get to work and sit around not knowing what to do, there is always work to be done. What's mostly challenging is working with technicians cause some take time to submit job cards and that puts pressure on me esp on month end, cause every 25th of each month work is supposed to be done and dusted.

Pros: multi task and being an all rounder
Cons: no growth, difficult for one to move from one department to the next.

Learning Curve

I am in a credit control department. I started in 2013 May 01st. Doing collections on individual accounts. In my department we have different sectors e.g credit control on individuals, credit control on corporate accounts, dealerships division, legal department and administration. I worked on individual books from 30 days to 120 days in arrears for a year and a half and moved to corporate collections for a year then now i am doing legal collection and admin on both individual and corporate. I receive in bound calls. Off sets, journals, credit investigations, write off. Termination of contracts. Credit write up and reconciliation of statements. I enjoy investigation of accounts. Calculating why clients are over due. Or why accounts are unpaid. I am a team player. I like to assist others and advise where necessary.

Excellent growth path and learning curve

Good company to work for. Opportunity for growth is always there and one pushes more in order for your dreams to be reached. Encouragement to study further and company is willing to assist with funding of education, whether it be primary or tertiary education. Company i would recommend to work for and friendly staff

Learning Curve

Basically I focus on account management for individual clients and small corporate business. I normally arrange and schedule for tracking installation on a daily basis, deal with technical error that fitment centres have problem. Do some adhoc duties around the office should they have any small IT problems.

Excellent Learning experience gained especially with computers

I have a good relationship with my peers. I have an in and out office day with going to see clients. I have been exposed to many computer programs and have gained knowledge in this area. I have enjoyed visiting client and debriefing drivers and offering guidance to improve driving skills. I have improved self management skills and providing excellent service to clients with rewarding feedback.

Working at Mix telematics is was very challenging

A command center (often called a war room) is any place that is used to provide centralized command for some purpose. A command center enables an organization to function as designed, to perform day-to-day operations regardless of what is happening around it, in a manner in which no one realizes it is there but everyone knows who is in charge when there is trouble.

I am working as a stock controller, We have an amazing consignment team the spirits are high. my typical day includes taking stock requests to the warehouse, sending out monthly reconciliations, doing the stock reconciliations, transferring stock on the system, I mainly use salesforce, excel, Microsoft dynamics Navision, outlook.

Excellent learning curve

I work 8:00 to 4:30 and have a team of 8 people. My department assures that the output of instruction is highly detailed, delivered on time and sent to the correct dealer with appropriate contact info. I work closely with most department as service delivery to our clients is of utmost importance. I've learned how to cope under pressure and also respect everyone. How to conduct oneself professional under any circumstances. Making uncomfortable request for the sake of having customer issue resolved. The people and how busy in can get. The diverse clientele we have which come with different challenges. Always there is something to learn. The most challenging is that is not my responsibility does not work. We need a resolution all parties must assist.
