Organizing logistics for the sales to be collected from cold stores and delivered. Communicating with cold stores for releases (3 cold stores) Following up on delivery notes. Booking stock in and out of cold stores. Prepare paperwork for the accounts department.(Invoicing) Communicate with the farm managers regarding the biomass movements on the farms (8 farms) Keeping a record of the moves between units on the farms. Arranging for imports or exports of fish eggs. Applying for permits Checking stock in of containers (Imported stock) Size grading frozen fish Live, Frozen and Fresh fish Sales Keeping a record of Feed purchase, feed fed and Feed on hand. Weekly Sales Reports Monthly biomass report Monthly feed on hand report Monthly Cold store report. All the above is for our own stock and for trade stock (third party).

Learned a lot about trout

Getting orders in Making sure the harvests are done on time and in the correct manner. Make sure my driver is on time. Handle any problems in logistic. Book stock out Make sure there is enough stock for the next day. Arrange harvest with all the people involved Send release notes to cold store for sales. Make sure it is collected and delivered - adjust stock system accordingly. I work with 6 different farm managers every day and mostly after hours as well - and they do miss me if im not at work. The most changelling is the Molapong falls under Viking Aquaculture - so it is like you are working for 2 bosses and are not sure who are you suppose to listen to.

Pros: Normally Don't work on Week-ends
Cons: Must be available 24/7
