Excellent learning curve

Currently working in the Pulp and paper industry, with a major focus on the chipping operations and pulp milling plant. Looking at the maintenance chops production and biomass procduction machineries.

Great experience and opportunity to learn

Working at Mondi was wonderful i had the opportunity to be tested above and beyond my call of duty,I got to learn about the various jobs in the pulp and paper making industry,the only stessful thing about the job was the immense amount of overtime because we were three people working a four man shift, nevertheless it was a wonderfull experience.

MicroManaged

The typical day at Mondi for a maintenance mechanical engineer is mundane. It is running around doing day to day work. Relationships are strained here as the people operate in fear. It can be seen that management look to find fault with people first rather than to determine the real causes. Relationships with my own coworkers are fine. I have learnt the value of my true self. I have learnt more about what I care about and what I want to do. I have learnt about how leadership really plays a role. I enjoy the place of Richards bay. The most challenging part of my job is being able to think like an engineer again. I have stepped backwards in my career to come to Richards Bay and I do not enjoy my job.

Learnt a lot on the business front

The actual work is challenging and exciting. There is no room of becoming board. However major draw back is the poor executive leadership culture. Causes alot of frustrations and u unecessary stress.

Good working

It was nice to work at Mondi all colleagues are freindly and it easy to work with them. If you have problem they willing to assist you . I have learn a lots in this company . I enjoy to work with them. Difficult time I experience it when was ordering material in stores . I signed for it but I didnt get it I was very bad. I solve it buy check again .

I was working at mondi at Richards Bay as General Worker Was Running all aspect of fire watch emergency Derpartment many duties was work other Safty and very well gain expirience how to manager woker.based of cleaning staff so now i wish to upgrade my skill problem i dont have even of my Parents since was bone they have not a parents so i wish any opportunite

Start as Teller work myself up  to Regional Manager of 12 branches in KZN employed for 15 years, work ended due to CEO Past on. Then work 1 year for Kraft Lighting on Mondi as admin assistance contact ended. Then work temp at Mondi with shut at Legal Compliance as admin assistance for 10 months. I am a very hard loyal and trustworthy worker and can work under high volume pressure and remain calm. I love working with people and got very good communication and understanding skills. I like a challenge and to meet deadlines even willing to work longer hours to if needed.
