Production planner

I work 8am to 16:30 I'm production planner/drawing office supervisor Do paperwork for production,do drawings for customer and samples Close and realising jobs Do quotation for product we manufacture Give training for new guy's I think I'm in a comfort zone at the moment,responsible for our clocking system(ERS)do ours for weekly wages

Pros: opportunity to higher level
Cons: normal working hours

Slowly picking up but no room to grow within Draughting

I Prepare a daily working plan for the mechanical workshop, then after I create a work order which comprises of a material pick list and shop packet which indicates what material needs to be ordered from stores and what process needs to be followed int he workshop to manufacture what the client has ordered. I work directly with the work shop personnel and that gives me chance to interact with them and follow the process of manufacturing. On occasion I would take measurements from samples from clients. All Draughting work is my responsibility, filing of drawings measuring and creating drawings from sketches.

Pros: Growth opportunities are on the sales side of the business.
Cons: short hours which is not enough to cover all my responsibilities in a day
