- A typical work day Sending vessel schedules to clients Updating stacks, preparing documentation for inspections that might be applicable and loading dates to be arranged Sending out Q67's Preparing documentation for shipments, Bill of Entries, Cargo Dues, Bills, COO's, Export Certificates, Phyto's, SADC's/EUR1's/GSP's, ECTN's, etc. Sorting out any queries - Your relationship with co-workers I have a good relationship with co-workers, working together in a team, assisting each other and relying on each other's strengths to teach each other something new each day - What you have learnt Being pushed to be more spontaneous Working with shipping lines, clients, agents, transporters, cold stores everyday Working on system Shipshape Requirements of different importing Countries - What you enjoy most Every day has its own new challenges, can learn something new each and every day - The most challenging aspects of the job As much as I would like to, you will never know everything

Excellent learning

Morgan Cargo is a company of many tallents were we learn every day even if you have been working at morgan for te last 2 years or 10 we still learn every day. A typical working day is a busy day, wel it always busy the company is open 365 days a year 24/7. My relationship with co-workers are good, we do have ouer days were we argue like it is an any company. There is no point of sweet talking it. I have learnt that time is money...were in this line of work you work with or its against you. I enjoy working with my team and superiors working as a team to insure the company growth witch benefits us all.

Pros: Great Opportunity for learning.
Cons: Long working hours.

Excellent learning curve

You work only 14 day's a month and come in for extra shifts when needed. Can learn alott about various product and get to know the airport. Most of the day you wait for work to come in and very easy to do.

Fast learner and work well under pressure.

not much. a lot of work, too little pay. No acknowledgement is given. I've learnt a lot about myself and how to deal with everyday crisis. im ready to learn even more now about many other things.

Excellent learning curve

A typical day at work is busy and chaotic therefor we have to be focused at all times to ensure all deadlines are met. I have learnt how to keep good communication between co-workers for a good work pace and to keep a good vibe in the office. I struggle most with dealing with people who are unproffesional.

Cons: Opportunity for promotion is scarce

There's less position improvement

Some days are busy some are not but when it's busy through team work we are able to finish in time.when packing irregular shape cargo it become challenging because you have to be creative in order to pack it so it all fits on the certain pallet and that's also the fun part.

Excellent learning curve

Morgan Cargo is great place to work at they tought me alot about freight. Imports and exports. They took me in with no experience and after six months i was promoted to supervisor for my work ethic and drive. I love working with my team of 35people. And the freight industry is where i want tp stay. What i do on a day to day process is check in and out cargo. Load trucks, load sea freight containers, work with perishable and genco cargo. I do imports and exports. Arrange ppecb inspections and agriculture inspection. I check the cargo before loading and make sure that thr clients needs are met.

Non slacking position

to This is a fast paced business, no resting and must always be on the go. Very busy industry, work right through the year. We work in teams and need to understand eachother well. ll. well.
