Successful day to day running of HR/Administrator

My day to day job revolves around store management, area managers as well as HR officers. I deal with customer complaints regarding their accounts payments and furniture queries. I have a good relationship with store managers & area managers. Prioritising, time management & discipline is very important. I feel like I adding value to the organisation when there is less or no salary queries. One of the biggest challenges is when there is retrenchments & I had to inform stores about store closure.

Pros: There is a room to be promoted to an HR officer
Cons: The normal trading hours I work is 8-4 however usual it becomes 8-5 due to deadlines and submissions from stores

Customer service

Is like being a home leader you can sometimes have abad day and that's where you have to be strong cause you cannot fail yourself. Working in retail needs you to be a team player .you must be able to build a relationship with you're salary I really enjoy different types of people you meet .when u get a customer that is accusing you of something you didn't do or sayis challenging but you must have customer service skils in you on daily basis

Excellent learning curve

Know your customers interact with people be approachable always be punctual put a smile be presentable all the time ,team work ,promotion days ,make sure that you reach your target and customers are happy ,challenge were there no stock customers have to wait and you ending loosing the deal if customer is not patient, attending courses to gain knowledge how to became a top writer and share views with other co -workers in different area's ,pressure when you are not getting business you have to change the strategy of doing things ,what I enjoyed was when my customer are delivered on time and they are happy

Cons: Working on Sunday
