Motor Industry Bargaining Council Reviews

TREMENDOUS KNOWLEDGE

My typical work day is dealing with employers and employees at various companies in the Motor Industry. I am always applying and interpreting the MIBCO collective agreement where I have always ensure that my knowledge on the agreement is always thorough so that I can apply the minimum wages, grades and all conditions of employment within MIBCO.I have excellent communication skills and very precise and work to attain compassion when ever I speak to co-workers. I have learnt that to create a healthy work environment you have to always create and element of trust and empathy with all employees. I always treat people in a manner of respect and in the way I would them to treat me. I enjoy going out and meeting knew people and the daily challenges that come my way that makes my job exciting. The most challenging part of my job is attending to everyone's needs at once as all complaints and queries demands my full attention and all employees that have complaints expect you to attend to their complaints immediately.

Pros: Tremendous amount of confidance
Cons: Great deal of travelling

Motor industry labour proctice & Employe benefits

This is a good company to works for especially for young graduates who still need solid experience. There are limited opportunities for growth however one gets a lot of exposure to the practice of Labour law within the Motor Industry, also get to interact with people from all walks of life and levels. Everyday is a new challenge and one has to deliver excellent customer service. Depending on which department you work at you would deal with queries from Employers, employees, Financial advisors/ brokers, lawyers and union representatives and other stake holders. the work can get to being a daily routine which can be demotivating.

Pros: normal working hours no holisays ad weekends
Cons: no inserntives

Gain knowledge on provident funds

I have gained so much experience in working with employers of the company dealing the owners of the company.. Having to learn more about Labour law what I like most about my job was helping those unemployed employees who come to claim for their money and seeing them happy after helping them it's what kept me going.. There are lots of challenges though especially with us collecting monies not paid and you find that the company doesn't exist anymore and people wants their monies because it was deducted from them.. I have learned to be honest integrity and always be assertive as we dealing with money to have to be honest at all times

Pros: Learning opportunities
Cons: No growth
