Good learning curve

I am able to work under pressure and individually and in a team as well. I believe in being professional at all times to ensure quality service delivery and meaningful relationship with colleagues and clients. I believe work ethic is a crucial factor that ensures cohesiveness among team members. I am a critical and an analytical thinker. Also, I always attempt to find innovative ways to solve a problem. I am capable of being initiative and decisive when working in teams, and I do possess leadership and communication skills. Furthermore, I am eager to learn and I am self-motivated. I have the ability to adapt to a new environment rapidly. I have gained skills in instrumental techniques such as GC, GC-MS, Melt Flow Index, Spectro-photometer, Injection Moulding Engel Machine, MNR, ph meter, Moisture Analyzer, other instruments, and in quality as a whole. I have worked with raw materials and the finished product

Exhilarating

A place full of challenges, a sublime environment and mostly an exceptional performance by the company. I appreciate the way we interact with my colleagues.i learn from them and they also learn a lot from me. Everyday we learn new things including safety, academically, his to work under pressure. I enjoy it much when we are faced with a predicament, we all work as a team to overcome it so that the production may proceed because we all have the same goal. I w faced with a PLC problem which took more than 6 hours to fix. Within that period had asked for assistance from my seniors, the team and even had to call for external help. As much as we all did the same thing we couldn't sort it tout til the next day. Only to figure that the problem was programming of the emergency switch.

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Well they delay a bit when it comes to attending to the breakdowns

I am passionate about what I do and always fully commit myself to every task that I have to do.

I am currently working as process laboratory technician at a plastic company. I have two years’ experience as a Chemistry Analyst which I acquired at Nestle Babelegi factory. I hold a National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry and have three years’ experience in the laboratory industry. In my three years of experience I have learned to perform experiments in accordance of test methods as well as the SOP’s. I have also gained a firm understanding of general lab practices as well as procedures (ISO’s, GLP, GMP, FSSC and internal audits), safety and housekeeping (5S).

Flexible shift patterns

An excellent springboard to learn about the plastic industry and learn a bit of everything from mechanical, electrical to chemical aspects of what goes into making plastic pellets, fair working conditions with very little opportunity for growth.

My exprience

I I enjoy working at Mpact because the people there are friendly and are able to work as a team. I have learnt to to take accountability in the work I do.

Pros: The chances of promotions are too slim.
Cons: I work 12hrs a day, 4 days a week
