My core responsibilities are to ensure the portfolio is financially sound and meets all its financial and operational objectives. I am responsible for all the properties upkeep and maintenance. Special projects and major refurbishments are also handled by myself. I ensure that all tenants have settled rentals by month-end and any problematic tenants are addressed and arrangements secured in order to safe guard the company. I liaise directly with the company's legal representatives and make decisions if accounts and tenants need to be handed over. I am also tasked with finding new properties which meet the criteria set by the company in order to expand its footprint.

I’m currently employed as the Operations Director for the MRA Property Trust. I manage a range of property which includes; 1. Commercial 2. Retail component 3. Residential 4. Student accommodation My scope of responsibilities includes the following: 1. A focus on Investment returns (ROI). 2. Property maintenance and co-ordination of contractors. 3. New leasing, drafting and settling leases with tenants. 4. Renewal of leases and retention of tenants. 5. Seeking new and innovative ways to increase rental income. 6. Attending of body corporate meetings when and where required. 7. Quarterly feedback reports to various stakeholders. 8. Meetings with accountants to assist in meeting banks requirements to obtain finance for expansion. I have recently been appointed a Commissioner of Oaths and this will benefit any employer.
