Excellent learning curve,experiences and challenges.
A typical day at work would be to assist all customers, I am fortunate to have a good team of co workers. We face different challenges and experiences daily with clients but always support each other regarding the matter facing. I have learnt that you should always be calm no matter what situation u face and how u feeling, you're mood should not get the better of you. I enjoy being part of the Mtn Sa network service group, as we learn new things about the business on a daily basis. Its always challenging when you competing with different networks and there stuff, but that's what makes it fun of the job. We always trying to keep our companies standards high. And that is my basic day at work. Samantha
Pros: Learning new things, meeting new clients everyday and mostly, working with a good team.
Cons: Long ours at work at times, quiet day at work.

I am a person who enjoys challenges and changes as that is what keeps me motivated
I enjoy admin instead of front office dealing with clients and I enjoy being busy from start of day till end of day. I get on well with anyone but I make sure that I am work to do my job and not to bad mouth anyone or socialise. I have learnt that it takes a lot for me to be motivated in my current position as we have no recognition or appreciation for what we do and the hours that we work. I have gained a lot of computer knowledge and customer relation. I enjoy office, admin work the most. the most challenging aspect of my job currently is dealing with the public and being the face of the company through these tough times . having to be a manager and earning the sales person salary and not even being offered a increase for taking the role of a 2nd in charge.

My previous job was to engage with customers telephonically to assist with problems,complaints or just assistance,Me and my co workers were more of friends than colleagues we worked well in our team and met targets, I have learned to think on my feet with this job to multitask, I enjoyed mostly assisting customers and getting complements because I went an extra mile for a customer,The challenge was the angry customers

I learned a lot on Excel,MS Word and MS Office
Every morning everyone balance the stock in one's locator that have been provided for all.As a team we help the one with so much stock that it can take longer to finish due to time constrain.My colleagues are too organized and always take good care of their work ahead of everyone's table.I have learned a lot from the co-workers that gave me in job training that i also felt it was my duty to give that to the other people that joined our team.I enjoy team building including the rest of the company employees as we interact in having fun socializing after a long hard working year as it happens once per year so everyone is looking forward to that. The most challenging aspects is when i started working on a handheld picking tool that i never thought i could muster the picking target.I also had a challenge when a new system to enhance Oracle's performance that it felt like doing two things at once.
Pros: I wish to work in a company that have opportunity to rise up to the top.
Cons: Long working hours are not a problem for me,i'm used to working on Christmas Eve and public holidays when required.

This is done through the system or tool that has been configured to manage data. Reviewing agreements or contracts which are regulated by ICASA which is the regulator of the telecommunication this is done to ensure that our billing and managing of data is in line with what is in the contract
Pros: ability to apply ones mind and learning fast and management skills in terms multi projects and ago. The motivation also from the compensation or incentive scheme
Cons: The daily travelling of at least 200km per day

There is room for improvement
Working for a big company like MTN has been a great experience to deal with Projects that are worth multi-billions of Rands everyday and having to analyse different projects impact on the overall Capex budget allocation, ensuring that money allocated is spend in line with budgetary confines. Tracking every cost driver down to the project budget and staying within the budget is always an exciting experience to achieve. Constant, weekly engagement with the different service providers on the Project progress, challenges and meting out solutions with implementation time-frames, achieving that is always a milestone. Different coworkers are always a great resource to work with and to ensure that people's potentials are identified and used to the benefit of the organisation.
Pros: Very limited opportunity for promotion
Cons: Always working on the time pressure with a need to work outside normal working hours

Excellent learning curve
Retaining customers that want to leave the company Great relationship with my team mates I have learnt great customer care and up-skilled my selling tools I enjoy inter-acting with customers and resolving queries System issues as well as getting retention's only packages are the challenging aspects of the job.
