Current company

My day usually starts with checking the results of a previous night's scan. Like any other office there are co-workers you get along with very well and some you are not very close to. Overall it's a good working environment between colleagues. The best part of working here is that it's rare for any 2 days to be the same. Things can go from quiet to extremely chaotic in a matter of hours.

Pros: Good benefits, relaxed work environment
Cons: No growth potential, management is very much stuck in their ways and not open to fresh ideas

Enlightenmening and challenging

I was afforded apportunity to learn how to handle Customer queries face to face. I have call centre experience from working at NICS and absa, so multichoice enabled me to learn certain skills needed to deal with pressure of advising clients face to face. It also enhanced my teamwork skills because a call centre is much more individualistic that a branch environment. It taught me to thrive both individually and in a team environment.

Pros: Handling a wide number of queries
Cons: Sometimes dealing with borderline violent customers

Business Analyst

A day at work I engage with stakeholders, draw workflows, Oversee the development and testing life-cycle. I work along with a team of 2 Business Analysts, 3 tester and a media testing technology manager. I enjoy operational workflow mapping. The most challenging part of my job is engaging with the stakeholders. My role enables me to support the organization and its people through facilitating the necessary enhancements and new functionality developed on IT systems. This allows the organization to meet the growing needs of its customers by being adaptable to its environment.
