Exposure to something totally different
Work would start at 12 till 9.. We would have 3 breaks and an hour lunch. I would assist with client acc queries. It was a big company but I worked well with my team I learnt patience and not to take everything to heart. dealing with difficult clients would sometimes be challenging

Passion for insurance industry.
I am directly responsible for ensuring that TV and Radio services are broadcasting at all times possible. Interacting with my fellow colleagues is fun and very interesting as one has to deal with different personalities and cultures throughout the shift. Attending to alarms, ensuring the correct escalation process is followed and also the correct SOP is followed ensure a good day. It is very stressful having to attend to many issues during a shift. I have learnt that I am in the wrong industry. During an aptitude test, it was found that my skills would suit the Sales Industry. This is what prompted me to seek employment in the Insurance Industry as a Technical person as this would maintain my technical interest as well. I enjoy being part of a team that understands what the goal is. The most challenging aspect of the job is being able to focus for twelve hours, ensuring no issues are missed.

Excellent learning curve
Met a lot of great people, ambitous, talented and educated. But the job market isn't so great. However its a huge company with about 2000 warriors. Competition is tight, many get stuck while others leave. Chances of a promotion are slim to none. Those who got promoted before, can be demoted within a month. Lack of consistency. But a great company on the corporate side.
Pros: Different sectors, a learning curve
Cons: Night shift, weekends and holidays you are in. No christmas lunch with the family

Working for multichoice was a great experience
A typical work day at multichoice is helping customers solve their problems whether it be technical or financial also welcoming new customers on a daily,all employees at Multi choice are like a family there is good relationships between everyone.the best part was when we celebrated the 30 years of great native (anniversary), the biggest challenge is trying to calm down a irate customer to listen to you and to make them understand what the problem is.

Great customer experience
working at multichoice is fun, we get celebrities come in and entertain us.sometimes hectic when taking calls because of difficult queries. i now know a lot about decoders. technical side and how they do the billing. working hours are not bad but shifts are hectic because of transport. all in all i have learned a lot..

Customer support consultant. Providing customers with excellent service, making sure their served, understanding their needs along with processing the request. Responding to client complaints and inquiries. And assisting in increasing customer satisfaction along with updating account information. Dealing with escalated queries.

Work hard smart and honestly and generate new ideas for the company
Manage a high-volume workload – Resolve an average of 550 inquiries in any given period and consistently meet performance benchmarks in all areas exes, (compliance, attendance, hold time, transfer-rate, and shrinkage) Became the lead "go-to" person for new reps and particularly challenging calls, earned 100% marks in most categories including communication skills, listening skills, problem resolution and politeness. Commended for initiative, enthusiasm, persuasiveness and dependability in performance evaluations. Completed voluntary customer service training to learn ways to enhance customer satisfaction and improve productivity.

Great Company Benefits, Lovely Staff
The staff was great. Everyone had an air of "we're here to work and make money." They were helpful and amicable. The work life balance was non existent. As a customer care agent the basic salary was on the lower side of the spectrum, so to supplement overtime is a constant must. Because I lived in Soweto and the office was in Randburg, and I was using public transport; It would sometimes make more sense to sleep at work then start a new day. That way I get enough sleep, save money and am punctual.

Great company
A good company to work for and learn and grow .I have learnt to deliver good customer services to clients and enjoyed the trainings and product knowledge and the culture of the company .co-workers are very friendly and good people to work with
