Great learning opportunity

The company offers great learning opportunities and has a great working atmosphere. It allows for good exposure to the film industry. There isn't much opportunity for growth in my department but the company as a whole is excellent to work for.

Excellent Growth

Dealing with HR issues - grievances, disciplinary's - Monthly payroll - Management meetings - employee benefits - salary scales etc. Good relationship on all level of communication. An international Company so I am also dealing with International Directors. I have learnt that what you put in is what you get out. I enjoy helping and resolving problems. Most challenging aspect of my job is to work with an international Company.

Pros: Excellent co-workers to work with.
Cons: No opportunity for any pormotion

Excellent learning curve

i work in the film industry on the lighting department, we rent out light to the production companies to shoot commecials and movies, we pull the lights and scan them out on the system to the shoot, and when they come back we scan them back on the system, we do the filling and pack them back to their shelves, we do the reports and invoice, we do stock take every month, we also do the maintainance on the lights, we also have consumable that we supply

Pros: great opportunity for promotion
Cons: long working hours
