Not an enjoyable position to be in

As a new branch established in Cape Town, we work well together as a team. A typical work day for me will include requesting prices for quotations, pricing of quotations, and typing and submitting quotations to clients. Completing vendor application forms, booking jobs, keeping spreadsheets up to date, forward various reports to head office, opening and closing of job cards., answering the switchboard.

Pros: I enjoy the flexi working hours offered to me
Cons: No support form head office

I did learn a lot my time I am there

A typical work day will be for me to handle the switch board, typing of load test certificates for the different mines in our area, the capturing of the certificates on the register and also handeling the walk in clients. I would say I have a good working relationship with my co workers I did learn a lot about all the equipment that we load test and how they are used.

Pros: I did learn a lot
Cons: Haven’t got paid this month yet the boss usually threatens you to look for another job

Unknown future, no leadership, commitment.

The company, employees and directors is fabulous people. The current job that I'm in is not what I would like to do and what I studied for. There is no leadership and commitment in the company. I would like to be part of a company with leadership and commitment. There is no stability in the company. The director has allot of family also working in the company and they don't get treated equally to other employees. The company has financial strain and I don't know my future there.

Pros: Supportive co-workers
Cons: No leadership, no commitment, no stability
