Moving from being a Radiation Protection Officer to a SHEQ Management position at a company such as Pelchem SOC Ltd provides me with a lot of detailed understanding of the OHS Act as the industry activities put a lot of focus on that Act in order for it to comply

Alot of exposure working with The Board and EXCO

Production Meeting daily, Plants visit, defects register review, spares register review, personnel issues, report to EXCO. Good working relationship with co-workers, interaction with suppliers, Feasibility studies on new business/projects, Challenges currently is attracting Engineers to the company.

Pros: Multi function duties HR Engineering supply chain stores management l, production management,
Cons: Under staffed and lack of critical skills, aged work force

Proficient in policies and procedures

Great culture and ethics, however they dont embrace change and new improved policies and procedure. Lot of growth potentiol, but requires long working hours which sometimes lack balance between life and work as i also work weekends.

Pros: great salary
