Whole new field

Starting at a maintenance and construction company was quite challenging. But I love every minute of it. To learn that to build a petrol station is not just building a structure but density test that needs to be done before even building. To get all the different paperwork together and to see the foto’s of the end results is absolutely priceless. You even start to see if a step is missing and can help them to make sure that everything is 100% before the job is signed off. Then off cause knowing that I can now invoice the client for work done. And that there will be no unhappy customer. Priceless. Working very closely with the field workers as well as the safety and health officers to get a green seal in order for us to request payment. Learning new systems and processes to help me in my new role as accounts assistant.

Focus and task-orientated.

I am deadline driven, I work independently and take pride of my work. Good experience in accounting. I enjoy monsIy doing the cashbook, general ledger en reconciling of the cashbook as well as GL accounts. I get on well with most people.I am friendly and approachable. Always willing to help others. The most challenging in bookkeeping is to get everything done before the deadline, eg for SARS returns or month end board meetings. I do not see myself doing any other job than bookkeeping. I love bookkeeping and beleef I am a born bookkeeper.

Pros: Take my responsibility serious and do my job the best I can
Cons: Traffic and long distances to get to the office

Fast learner strong team leader hard working
