Excellent learning curve

At Blendrite and at Pfisterer, I have been exposed in various functions of Operations Management, these include: internal examination/auditing, conducting time studies on the existing and new products (first runs), quality control, quality management system, Total Quality Management, problem solving, looking at the flow process of materials, continuous improvements (Kaizen System) and sustainability of them, line balancing, inventory management, leading, controlling, organising, planning, being a team player, managing recovered hours for different departments, maintaining production efficiency, Machine/cell layout, create and sustain visual measuring tools on the floor, improve inventory turnover, being a leader of 5s throughout the factory (13 departments): conducting the auditing and leading 5s projects.

Cons: long working hours

Great company but needs direction

There is a family environment at Pfisterer, people are friendly and show consistency in all areas of their work. I have grown from department to department, this has taught me a lot of things and have given me the experience for future growth and perseverance. We need to be more innovative and skillful to maintain future growth.

Cons: Need more innovation and skills
