Brilliant learning experience with lots of learning and improvements

customer. Ensuring that that the customer receives the order which was initially ordered in the shorter time as possible. I enjoy working with people and most importantly in an emerging environment where are as I learn each and everyday on how to handle or solve problems quicker to make sure that the end customer is happy at the end of the day. The most challenging aspect of the job is to ensure that the estimated time of arrival provided to the customer is met at all times. Therefore, we ensure that there's sufficient stock in our warehouse to reduce the cycle time of ordering stock from abroad and shipping it to South Africa.

I am currently employed at Philips as a Demand Planner for South Africa,my duties include: • Create Sales, Marketing, Consensus forecast for the assigned planning horizon, BU and/or Customer Planning Groups by creating the statistical baseline forecast and enriching it with all relevant input from Sales, Customers, Customer Project Managers, Supply/Operations, Marketing, Finance and adjacent functions.

Excellent learning curve

Excellent compnay to work for, but once you there for so long you just part of the furniture and more work is added to your fmdaily jobs and longer hours. Not much growth as the compnay is now merging

I have worked at Philips and Strattec full-time.

I typical day for me at work is/was very exciting as users always come with different which will really blow your mind. The most important thing about my co-worker was their friendly behaviour and honest at all time. I have learnt that in life you do not have to always wait for plans to come sometimes you have to create some plans yourself. Application support was my favourite. Learning SAP system by my own.

Horrible

Not the type of company to work for. No values. Company is out to bully their employees. Executive Management not living the company values. Bosses of the exco team turn a blind eye to exco treating employees badly. They aren't interested as long as the figures are good.

Excellent learning curve

I have a greater relationship with my coworkers. The work culture is also great and encourages innovation and personal and career growth . Moreover Philips offered its employees support in all perspectives. There is inclusivity at work and I am happy. The most challenging thing about work is working from home because sometimes my manager is too busy to assist me
