What I think of planet fitness Walmer:
I enjoy working at Planet Fitness as I am a big fan of healthy living and sport. I really do not get along with some of my co workers as some of them are really disrespectfull. I enjoy working at reception as I bond with a lot of our clients. I have learnt to get along with all of our clients as they are like family by now. What I enjoy most by working there is only the fact that I love what I do there.
Pros: great customers
Cons: long working hours,staff being mistreated.

Selling Gym Membership,cold calling,canvassing and turning cold leads in to ales
Canvassing,cold calling,converting cold leads in to sales,selling gym memberships.sourcing my own leads through canvassing and making an appointment for clients to come view our facilities, do needs analysis take the for a tour while explaining how our equipment works,give them a program for the week to help them achieve their goals in the gym.first 5 hours of the day I make appointments and after 12 I go out canvassing to get fresh leada .
Pros: Opportunity to grow within the sales inviroment.

My qualifaication will translate well in this position
Work in a fast pace call centre environment to answer calls from members Provide relevant information as requested by the member Answer calls within required time (15 seconds) Follow the correct query flow and report back to the member the outcome of the query Escalate the query if needed and still provide feedback to the member within the stipulated turnaround time Listen to calls done and taken by agents and responsible for setting the quality standards for incoming and outgoing calls. In the retention department. Provide daily report of the findings and suggest ways in which an agent can better their skills.

I've learnt more about myself as an individual.
working in a gym environment can be fun and frustrating, especially since you experience complications with contracts on a daily basis, if its not payment issues, its misunderstandings about the terms. You get to build relationships with the members you see everyday and that what makes your day because there's never a dull moment. the team I work with makes work easier because we support one another. the challenge we face is difficult members, negligence and mirepresentations.

Learning curve
I enjoy my admin manger role as i interact with sales consulatants and members. I can work indivisually and as team. On my day to day job I have learnt to be patient with my fellow collaegues and peolple are not the same. I would have challenges when consultants do want me to follow the correct process, unfortunatley I need to apply business rules as I respect my job.

Excellent people skill building
Club opening, checking books and signing off contracts, auditing dashboards and reports, walking the floor and talking to members, assisting staff at reception, planning of monthly events, updating Admin tool, calling members for inductions and welcoming new members in facility. Learned the business basics, how to be professional and accurate and have alot of attention to detail. I enjoy the reports and dashboards aswell as the paperwork. Most challenging aspect is dealing with the hours.

Good customer service
Planet fitness is a very good company with a great working environment,and has easy access to staff and members,very good customer service ,I started working there in 2010 and left the company in 2014,during that time it has given me the opportunity to grow professionally and it has also given me extended opportunities of being a leader and manager .I had my down times and falls during that time but management was always there to help with regards to anything work related,the trainingthe company has provided is excellent.I love planetfiness.

Good sales skills, good negotiating skills, fluent in english, very literate, good computer skills
Well the day usually starts with morning training (gym) and there will be a meeting at 9am sharp. From there as consultants we start confirming all appointments for the day ahead including no-shows, be-backs (call backs), re-scheduled apps etc. Then we start making follow up calls to returned/unpaid debit orders and all outstanding documents. Then we drive out to set-up activation stands for outreach for new leads and sales. So the objective is to always be selling gym memberships and always be closing either on the spot or by appointment. Once the appointment shows up one then needs to do meet and greet, analysis in order to identify the client's goals before doing a personalized tour of the facility to show the client what they can expert in order to focus on the client's goals specifically. Once the tour is done then a full price presentation.
Pros: meeting different people daily, expanding knowledge
Cons: long workinf hours, low salary compared to workload, no bonuses

Not bad company
If you are ambitious its not ideal as the call center is small so no growth here for supervisor or team leader position. one perk for workn for a gym is the free membership of which not all staff make use of but i did.
