High employee turnover
Most people are friendly and helpful to one another. It is easy to get along other with others in the offices and to make friends. Most people work in many projects with tight deadlines; resourcing is an issue and there is a significant employee turnover. We attend too many meetings and they can get in the way of progress and add significantly to your work hours. From what I have heard, the salary growth is not satisfactory. The projects are exciting as one contributes to the vision and mission of the company. One gets exposed to organisational strategy and the people, process and technology solutions that are going to deliver the mission and vision; it is exciting. So far, I have enjoyed starting projects and giving them shape.
Pros: Challenging projects and learning curve
Cons: Recogition

A normal working week at PPS
As as Test Analyst at PPS, on a normal working week, I am currently allocated to a Production Support inbox and a PPS-Investment Project The Production Support inbox is where all the production queries are logged for all the projects that went live, for this inbox we are required to replicate logged queries on our testing environment and if the query is replicated it will be logged on our bug tracking platform where our Developers will attend to the issue , once the issue is resolved, we are expected to test and report back to the user if whether the issue was resolved and for them to try on their side and advise if the issue is still persisting in production
Pros: Gaining knowledge of how to replicate production queries and give solutions to resolve the issue
Cons: Long working hours, due to delayed bug fixes users are frustrated and as a Test Analyst you are expected to explain and give a solution in the mean while the issue is being fixed
