Below is a summary of Tasks/Activities I am currently carrying out under PRASA-Metrorail: • Serve as an Acting Technical Manager in the absence thereof, being in charge of 3 Sub-departments (Civil, Electrical and Signal Engineering). • Managing/Mentoring/Leading (Since I am a Senior Technician) 2 Electrical Technicians and a Plan Processor. • Performing supportive functions to other PRASA departments. • Serve as a link between PRASA and external organisations. • Custodian of standards, drawings and specifications maintenance/records for WC Region. • Quality management and document control. • Involved in Infrastructure or/and Substation analysis and re-design for the new trains/rolling stock in the Western Cape.
