Wonderful foot in the door

Prestige Academy is wonderful place of business to find your feet in education. Since I work for the satellite campus the work load is divided which helps a lot. I arrive at work, 06:00 in the morning to start my preparation for the days classes. We work full time from 08:00 to 14:30 with no lunch hour. We do not have normal vacation times, we are allowed to take leave for one week in April and one week in June, but we do close early in December (which is taken as leave). The co-workers are very friendly and the office environment are a lot of fun. The students are polite and I love working with them. The major challenge is the lack of communication between our head office as well as our top management.

Pros: Love of teaching and training
Cons: Low salary and strict leave

Times change

Typical work day- totally unpredictable Relationship with co-workers - great! Relationship with senior management - ok Lessons learned - seasons change, so does time.... after 15 years one might need to move on

Pros: working hours
Cons: no opportunity for promotion / perks.... none
