Start at 7:30 am, prepare day schedule,communicate with staff team and Consultant/s. Ready for emergencies.Good communication with colleagues.Learn not only academic and practical skills,but problem-solving,delegation and communication with co-workers. I enjoy fulfillment of seeing healing in children and gratitude of parents. It can become challenging to separate emotions from the trauma experienced by ill children, but I am cognisent of it. Very passionate about Paediatrics,( see CV) Great team worker.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn more and possibly explore specializing some day in Paediatrics. I have been a Registrar before( albeit in Pathology).
Cons: Hours can become long

Excellent Exposure to Community Pharmacy

Locum work is rewarding and is always interesting. Travelling to different locations allows me to meet new patient and colleagues. Additionally, it gives me insight into varying conditions that affect various areas within a given city/province.

Pros: Excellent Networking Opportunities, Flexible Hours
Cons: Inconsistent Hours, Lack of security
