Excellent workplace

Excellent workplace. Supply mine equipped instruments Always acomodates white and Indians, Black's has got no room for growth . I can say it's a racial company when it comes to the salaries and wages. People are resigning and coming back again .

Pros: Good working place apart from the salaries

Typical work day is 8 am to 4:30 pm most people keep to themselves unless you have gossip and no socializing is aloud out of tea and lunch times. depending on who you are though. I've learnt be careful who you trust,

Pros: Ok salary, Company buys your work uniform
Cons: Very unprofessional, no real value shown to hard working employees

Great instrumentation exposure.

We work at various mines around the northern cape and the Free state selling,installing,maintaining and calibrating various instruments. I also assist customers on the phone and have a very good relationship with them. I sometimes independently and most of the time within a team. I travel most of the time and when I am at the office,I do paper work(reports) as well as quotations.The kimberley branch I work for has limited promotional technical positions.

Pros: all current promotional positions are filled.
Cons: over 40 overtime hours a month

Good learning curve

Co ordination of Technicians, incharge of Forex, quoting, capturing and costing job cards per job done, Invoicing, Fire Marshall,checking Disbursements, liasing with customers, handling customer queries, Switchboard from time to time,

Pros: Great learning curve

Great learning curve.

Everyday has new challenges. Have good relationship with fellow co-workers. Have learnt a great deal of business infrastructure and problem solving techniques. I enjoy working with my colleagues and learning new things. The most challenging part is to keep up with the high amount of customer requests and demands.

Pros: Can learn a lot from company.
Cons: No room or oppertunity for groth.
