My typical work day is about dealing with clients wether it be on the phone, via email or on a zoom meeting in the current Covid conditions. I will sell solutions that best fit the clients needs. This will also involve cold calling for new business. I have learnt a lot about the financial industry and that building relationships will get you a deal. I enjoy the people (clients and friends at work). I’m happy at my company but I’m looking to relocate to Durban to be with my fiancé.

Lots of variety and flexibility, travel, wide range of personality types in our business and clients
Typical Day - motivating Sales team, managing pipeline and ensuring deadlines are adhered too Co-workers are great, I have great relationships with everyone in the company I have learnt patience, trues sales people are difficult by nature as they know what the want but sometimes bend rules for their greater good... I enjoy my team and the variety of clients that we have. I also enjoy the traveling I do moth locally and cross border. Most challenging is keeping the team motivated and selling. Consistency is the key to success as when times are bad, getting the team to stay focused is challenging.
Pros: Flexibility
Cons: Flat structure means that decisions always have to go through Exco first.
