Excellent learning curve

my typical day in the retail environment involves me managing a team of sales executives and a finance & insurance business manager to drive performance. My goal is to turn around a non performing business unit and ensure that they are able to exceed budgeted expectations consistently and in a sustainable manner. My role on the Renault SA exco involves me attending weekly exco's and providing relevant and critical feedback to each Vice President's presentation. Thereafter i engage with the MD on a one on one basis on the exco meeting as well as the retail operations. In these sessions we are able to discuss current marketing/sales strategies and their effectiveness, as well as any potential opportunities that exist which could be exploited.

Pros: the insights gained from being so close to the heart of our business, being the retail divisioon, has proven invaluable
Cons: to move from my previous level of seniority and immerse myself fully in this environment was challenging

Excellent learning curve

In my current position I manage the sales activities of a high performing flagship dealership with the best aftersales department in the group. I have extremely strong organizational skills and I also utilize my ability to delegate responsibility to keep the entire dealership running smoothly. I am also able to call on my extensive computer skills to develop the documents and spreadsheets I require and that are utilized by the company management. The dealership that I currently manage is a collection of territories that I brought together to meet the rising needs of my company. I can bring that same sense of innovation and independent thinking to help your organization grow.
