Ownership of business.
I love that my planner and I have the liberty to present our strategy and plans and once the business plan is signed off we implement and build a range that we believe will build on and grow our business based on historical sales, trend forecasting and competitor analysis. We enjoy having ownership which allows us to be accountable for our strategy that we will follow through with. My relationship with my co-workers are open and honest. We always have healthy debates on product and what we believe will grow our business. We make sure that every Rand allocated to us is spent correctly on the right product, return on investment is key for us. We always meet each other halfway to make sense of the numbers and always revert back to our Strategy to keep us focused on the go forward plan . We have good relationships with our managers who always challenge and encourage us to make our own decisions for our business.
Pros: Opportunity to grow as merchants and run our businesses. Leaning to make sound business decisions without having to get sign off all the time, only when necessary
Cons: We do work long hours but it's worth it as we know the end goal

Excellent learning curve and exposure
It's a promising company with the new acquisition it presents more opportunities. Although they need to look at having benefits, e.g pension fund or medical aid
