Excellent learning curve

I am a 29 year old female. currently working as an Operations Coordinator. I have been in the manufacturing filed for 7 years. I have obtained a NDip Operations Management and Btech Quality at the University Of Johannesburg. Currently live in Boksburg and working in Germiston. I am willing to relocate with a notice of 30 days. On A day to day basis, I evaluate the overall machine efficiencies and report on it for continuous improvement. Waste reduction is one of the projects that I completed with the team dropping from 2% waste to 0.5%. I am involved with SHEQ as I do continuous evaluation of the company’s quality system including internal audits. I am the health and safety representative and do annual inductions with the team. On a weekly basis I highlight issues concerning Health and Safety, including toolbox talks.

An suitably qualified junior electrician with a thorough knowledge of electrical legislation, codes and standards of practicals. Experienced in installation, maintenance and testing of electrical systems and equipmen.

Teaching people who are not focussed

Monitoring and maintaining work flow loading truck Systematically doing dispatch notes,Gr v`s Helping where necessary Offloading all delivering Perpetual stock count daily I have learnt to be patient with other people I like transferring knowledge and skills Challenging is having to load trucks very late,due to traffic delay

Pros: Company hiring people who do not qualify for certain position
Cons: Having to load trucks at night,After hours

Great experience

It was really productive and a great opportunity to work at my previous company,we always fight to have a productive day and share knowledge and skills. We are very close with the colleagues because most of the time we working together helping each other and sharing ideas so that we don't take a lot of time in our breakdowns.. I have learned a lot of Fitting work,always ensure my safety qnd working smart at all times... I enjoy a lot when we sharing ideas and gaining more skills each and every day.. The most challenging part is when we have a lot of breakdowns but we make sure that we manage all of them .

Pros: Great opportunity to gain knowledge
Cons: Full time job

The company tought me lot of thngs that I didnt know about production or work industry as whole. I learned to analyst everything from raw materials to final product. Mostly I was able to work under pressure amd work very well with other people.I learned to respect my colleagues regardless.

Pros: Great learning opportunity
Cons: Salary was not satisfying
