A normal working day at SAPO

start duty at 06h00-15h00 but used to work irregular shifts. Short daily plan meeting and assign staff where required. Have management meeting and give site update(low and highlights and challenges)monitor and control staff.I have learnt numerous skills and live by the SMARTER policy and in that way eradicate any possible non conformities. Everyday comes with new challenges which is overcome by using policies and procedures, rules and regulations .

Pros: Post Office invests seriously in training and development
Cons: With current structure in place room for promotion is slim

Experience at creditors section - knowledge of SAP

its interesting to work for the post office and good relationship with my colleagues and we understand and respect each other, work as team players. I have learn a lot at the post office, how to handle customers and how to grow yourself in different section, eg work in retail, finance and now it IT, I enjoyed helping customers and capturing invoices in SAP. The most challenging aspects of my job is working in IT and learning more about computers.
